60 Second Support

A new mental health radio series has started this week, helping millions of people across the UK deal with issues such as isolation, bereavement, conflict and self-care during the coronavirus crisis.

Radiocentre, the industry body for commercial radio, has partnered with The Royal Foundation’s Heads Together campaign on this special new content series, 60 Second Support. The series has been produced with expert guidance from ten leading mental health charities in the UK and is fronted by Professor Green with contributors including Katie Piper, Poorna Bell and more. The series will offer millions of listeners of stations across the UK advice, tips and activities encouraging them to adopt easy and practical techniques to support their mental health and well being during the coronavirus pandemic

Professor Green said:“ I am so happy to be apart of 60 Second Support. As a patron of CALM, I’m really proud that mental health charities can offer advice to radio audiences across the UK in these challenging times. It’s a great initiative and I can’t wait for you all to hear it on the radio.”

You can hear 60 Second Support on Wycombe Sound on Mid Mornings and Drivetime and across our social media.
