Our large and loyal audience tune in for locally-focused content, from magazine programmes to sport, arts, news, business, traffic and travel and a wide range of specialist music programmes, broadcast 24 hours a day from our studios in the heart of the town.



Chris Phillips - Managing Director

25 years at BBC Radio Oxford and Radio Berkshire, producing and presenting daytime and weekend programmes, including Children in Need. Director of Jackie Palmer Stage School in Wycombe. Chris has the extensive knowledge and experience required to ensure high production standards for our broadcast output.

Philippa Sawyer - Programme Director

Philippa spent 20 years in business before retraining in radio production. She has worked in many community stations as a presenter, producer and trainer. Philippa hosts The Breakfast Show and looks after the day to day running of the station with Luke

Keith Higgins - Education Director

Keith spent 36 years as a lecturer & manager in Further Education College so it was natural that he has taken on the role of developing our education & training opportunities.

Luke Davis - Station Manager

Luke has been with Wycombe Sound since day one and looks after the day to day running of the station with Philippa, can also be found editing videos for the YouTube channel as well as the host of Drivetime!

Bob Johnson - Finance Director

Bob Johnson gained a Media Production with Journalism degree at the University of Bedfordshire. He then spent 13 years at LBC where he started doing work experience, then became a producer, presenter and ended up as the Programme Manager. Bob joined Wycombe Sound in 2015, initially as a news reader before he presented the Breakfast Show for a year. He is now one of the Mid Morning Show presenters and also looks after the station’s finances.
