Wycombe Swan Panto stars are in the first week of rehearsals ahead of the first night on Friday 8th December, Beauty and The Beast stars Strictly Come Dancing glitter-ball winner Joe McFadden, Hear’say and musical theatre star Suzanne Shaw as the Enchantress, and the world’s funniest redhead La Voix as Dame Peggy Pullem and Wycombe favourite Jon Clegg will also make a welcome return as Percy Pullem.
Colin went along to this year’s Panto Press Day and started by talking to Suzanne Shaw who after 16 years has finally had her wish come true by performing in her hometown theatre.
Joe McFadden returns to Wycombe Swan after performing in Agatha Christie play ’The Mirror Crack’d earlier this year and is looking forward to reprising a role he has played before.
La Voix who is no stranger to panto land and loves Beauty and The Beast, gives us some clues on some of the songs you might hear in this year’s production and how rehearsals are going.
Jon Clegg is back in this year’s panto production after being in last year’s Cinderella and is looking forward to welcoming audiences back especially those who might be making their first trip to the theatre.
Wycombe Swan and Imagine Theatre will be supporting local charity, Citizens Advice Bucks and their Christmas Volunteer Appeal which will help with the aim to raise funds for new frontline volunteer advisors to help them to reach 2 thousand more people across the county.

This year’s Panto runs from Friday 8th December till Sunday 31st December and along with Suzanne, Joe, La Voix and Jon stars James Bisp as the Beast and Verity Thompson as Belle.
