We partner with a variety of innovative and forward-thinking local businesses and organisations. Becoming a Partner enables your organisation to gain an understanding of what’s going on in the local area beyond business. It offers enhanced engagement and collaboration with other businesses, support of local charities and raises awareness of your brand.
Partners receive brand association with Wycombe Sound through on-air advertising, editorial opportunities and bespoke collaboration initiatives. Partners also benefit from prominent promotion via our social media channels, sponsorship opportunities for our training courses and workshops. In addition, partners will receive the opportunity to work closely with the highly experienced Wycombe Sound team on targeted marketing campaigns.
If you are interested in becoming a partner contact Adam Fisher on 01494 449900 or email@example.com
HWBIDCo is a Business Improvement District (BID). A BID is not-for-profit organisation that represents the local business community and works to promote and improve a defined area – usually but not always a town centre. HWBIDCo are governed by a Board of directors and funded by a levy from BID businesses. This money is then reinvested in local projects and events within High Wycombe town centre. BIDs are democratically elected and following a successful YES vote in 2017, HWBIDCo’s mandate was renewed for a further 5 years. The next vote will take place in 2022. There are currently over 322 BIDs operating in the UK. For more information on HWBIDCo and what they do, please visit the website or follow us on social media.
Marsh & Micklefield
In 2014, following their successful campaign to rebuild Micklefield Library a few years earlier, the residents of Micklefield, together with the residents of Marsh, were asked to take part in a national, 10 year long, community development project called ‘Big Local’. Big Local is funded by the lottery and there are a total of 150 communities in England taking part in the project. Since then a core group of residents have been working together to make positive changes locally: planting flowers, running the movie night, creating activities with young people - as well as getting some of the money that comes with the Big Local out to other initiatives such as Hills Café and our Community Centres. As a community we are fortunate to have access to some lottery funding to help develop our area, but we’ve realised it’s not money that makes this thing work - its people. So please get in touch and get involved!
